P.S. Facet Notice: Now that I reside in the south, I Have found on some amusing etiquette customs. Are you aware that folks used to place a pineapple on their mantels to get a celebration? The pineapple is a sign of welcoming. So, when the hosts were prepared for all to get the heck out of the home, rather than yawning loud, they’d just take away the pineapple in the mantel and all the invitees would understand it was time to vamoose!
